A Day Out With Thomas 2016 Calera, AL Review | One more Weekend Left!

readysetgo2016A Day Out With Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016

Just one more weekend left.  You can still see Thomas at Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera on Saturday, April 16 or Sunday, April 17th!  Train rides depart every 45 minutes!

Start your engines!  Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to team up with him for a day of family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016.  Children everywhere can join Team Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in April 2016!  Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 is presented by Fisher-Price.

Here’s my little #1 Thomas fan waiting to board the train!

thomas3b

Did you know that Thomas the Train TALKS at these events?

That’s our video from this year.  Even though this is the third year Thomas has talked at the events, my son is still amazed!  We also love the facilities at Heart of Dixie Railroad!  There are other train engines and things to see.  You can even listen to a Thomas story and watch Thomas movies inside a train car!

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities.  The day offers plenty of fun outside the ride aboard Thomas including putt-putt golf, jumpstation, bubble station, sandbox and more.

Check out some of our pictures from ALL the extra activities at A Day Out with Thomas:
