*HOT* Aldi Deals: $.69 Eggs, $2.49 Milk and more!

aldi

I love shopping at Aldi! There isn’t one in St. Clair County (though I wish there were!) but the one in Trussville in the KMart shopping center on Chalkville Mountain Road is convenient enough and always worth the trip!

20120724-191836.jpgI was just in there TODAY (5/1/16), and was excited to see that the price of eggs and milk had dropped! Milk is always in my shopping cart when I stop at Aldi!

Here’s what I saw today:

Milk $2.49

Eggs $0.69

Bananas $0.29/lb

Bagged Salad $0.69

Red Grapes $1.98 for 2 pounds!

Avocados $.69 each or 3/$1.99

Hamburger Buns 8pk $.85

White Bread Round Top Loaf $.85

(The picture is an older picture which is why it’s showing milk at $2.89).  I have no idea how long these prices will last.  This week’s ad runs until Tuesday so I assume you have until at least then to grab these super price!

If you’ve never shopped at Aldi before, read why shopping at Aldi is different from other stores.

Sunday Coupon Preview for 5/1

Have you ever wonder just what coupons will be in the newspaper before you get it? There is a way to find out!

The Sunday newspaper for May, 1 2016, will have FIVE inserts!  The May P&G insert, as well as TWO Smartsource and TWO Redplum inserts!

And CouponPreviews.info  has a complete list of the coupons you can expect in each week’s inserts!   (some coupons may vary by region)

If you purchase your papers off the rack, I would suggest flipping through them to make sure the inserts are there before you purchase them!

If you’re going to start couponing, I would suggest getting two papers per week to start out.  If there is a good deal on something with a coupon, you want to at least be able to get two of them!

Don’t wait for the Sunday paper!  Print coupons now:

A Day Out With Thomas 2016 Calera, AL Review | One more Weekend Left!

readysetgo2016A Day Out With Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016

Just one more weekend left.  You can still see Thomas at Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Calera on Saturday, April 16 or Sunday, April 17th!  Train rides depart every 45 minutes!

Start your engines!  Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to team up with him for a day of family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016.  Children everywhere can join Team Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in April 2016!  Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 is presented by Fisher-Price.

Here’s my little #1 Thomas fan waiting to board the train!

Did you know that Thomas the Train TALKS at these events?

That’s our video from this year.  Even though this is the third year Thomas has talked at the events, my son is still amazed!  We also love the facilities at Heart of Dixie Railroad!  There are other train engines and things to see.  You can even listen to a Thomas story and watch Thomas movies inside a train car!

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities.  The day offers plenty of fun outside the ride aboard Thomas including putt-putt golf, jumpstation, bubble station, sandbox and more.

Check out some of our pictures from ALL the extra activities at A Day Out with Thomas:
